I'm going to be taking some time off from the Aliventures newsletter and blog. 

We have a few time-and-energy sapping things going on here in the Luke household (mostly, my 10 year old having a lot of struggles settling to bed, and my husband having a work schedule that means he's away from home significantly more than usual). My freelance work needs to take priority right now.

If you're going through a similarly hectic time, please give yourself permission to drop everything you can and make life as easy on yourself as possible. Life might still be hard, but don't let it be even harder than it needs to be! Remember, it's okay to take a break from writing if that would help.

In more positive news ... the Aliventures archive, which has existed for years, now actually has a place in the blog's navigation menu. This hopefully makes it much easier for you to find and enjoy past posts. :-) (And big thanks to Emma from Science at Your Doorstep for suggesting how to redo the menu to fit it in.)
