For
the first time in years (actually, over a decade!) I'm taking on new coaching clients.
I'm so excited! One of the things I love most is working in-depth with writers and seeing their work evolve.

Who is Writing Coaching For?
I'm very happy to work with both fiction and non-fiction writers at all levels.
You might be brand new to writing and just starting to explore ideas, or you might have several novel drafts tucked away in a drawer.
Whatever stage you're at, I'm here to help you move forward.
In practice, most people who I coach are feeling a little stuck in some way. Maybe you started strong but then ran out of motivation, or you just don't know what is and isn't working well in your writing.
That's why
everyone begins with a "kickstart", where we work together to get you moving forward with your writing, and to come up with a plan to help you over the next few weeks or months.
How Writing Coaching With Ali Works
So that the coaching process works as smoothly for
you as possible, all my new coachees begin with "kickstart" coaching. This is:
Call 1: A 20 minute call where we get to know one another and you tell me what you're hoping to get from coaching.
You send me a piece of your writing (up to 2,000 words),
before...
Call 2: A 45 minute call where we go through your piece, I give you (helpful and constructive!) feedback, and we talk about the bigger picture of your project. We create an action plan so you can keep up your momentum.
You then send another piece of writing
(up to 2,000 words), before...
Call 3: A 45 minute call where we go through your second piece, I give you more feedback, and we then move into creating an ongoing plan to help you move forward with your writing.
After this, you can opt to carry on with regular
coaching if you feel that would be helpful, but there's absolutely no pressure to do so.
What Does It Cost?
The kickstart package is $250 (or £200 if you prefer British pounds).
After that, ongoing coaching is $125 (£100) per 45 minute session. That includes me reviewing up to 2,000 words of your writing in advance.

Happy writing,
Ali
P.S. I don't want to rush you to make a decision about coaching, so
there's currently no specific deadline to sign up. If my client list fills up fast, I'll drop you another email to let you know that places are running low.
