If I don't like it, can I get my money back?
Of course! And please never feel at all bad about asking me for a refund (for
Writers' Cafe or for anything). I want you to be 100% happy with what you buy from me ... that's much more important to me than the money!
If you're not too sure whether Writers' Cafe is a good fit, you're very welcome to join and see how it goes. If it's not quite right for you, just let me know within your first month and I'll be very happy to refund you in full.
(Yes, that still applies even if you've had already had your free coaching call with me!)
How much time will Writers' Cafe take up?
I know how tough it can be just to find
time for writing itself ... so I designed Writers' Cafe to be as useful as possible even if you only have a few minutes each week to spare.
Many members use Writers' Cafe to check in weekly, letting us know what they did the previous week and what their goals are for the coming week. This takes just a minute or two, but it can be so helpful in sticking with your writing.
Others join a writing hour most weeks so they can really focus and get plenty of writing done.
Some members are more active at certain times than others, e.g. when they're posting work for feedback.
Each Monday, I send out an email to Cafe members with a round-up of what's happening. This makes it really easy to get involved as and when you can.
Writers' Cafe runs on Circle, which has a fab mobile app, so you can check in on the Cafe while on the go.

hope is that as part of Writers' Cafe, you'll get the support and motivation you need to make a bit more time for writing in your life. :-)
Can I use a pen name within Writers' Cafe?
Yes! When you join Writers' Cafe, you can enter whatever name you want, and this is
what other members will see.
(If your real/legal name is in your email address, you may also want to hide your email address from displaying on your profile.)
You can also change your name at any time in the Cafe, if you later decide you prefer to go by a different name.
Is it okay if I'm a total beginner?
Yes! Some members of Writers' Cafe are just getting started with creative writing. You'll be very welcome, whatever stage you're at. Everyone is encouraging and supportive. We were all beginners too at one point!
Will Writers' Cafe be helpful if I've already got lots of experience writing?
Yes! We've got members who have written multiple novels, who have thriving freelance careers, and so on. Whatever stage you're at, we're here to help and encourage you as you grow even more as a
writer.
Do I have to book a coaching call?
No, I'm not going to make you have a free coaching call. 😆 I know it can be incredibly daunting to share your writing for feedback (the first time I did so, as a member of a writing group, my knees were literally
shaking).
But ... getting direct, supportive feedback on your work is a fantastic way to grow as a writer, so I do hope you'll take me up on the offer of a free 30 minute coaching call! You don't have to decide right away: you can book your call any time until the end of November.
