Hello!
It's taken a little longer than I'd hoped, but the relaunch of my Aliventures blog (and this accompanying email newsletter) is now complete. Hurrah!

If you've not seen it yet, you can check out the new design of the blog at www.aliventures.com – and you can read the first blog post since the relaunch, which went up a couple of days ago:

From now on, I'll be posting weekly (normally on Mondays) and sending out the newsletter each week too (normally on Thursdays).

My goal is to help you master the art, craft and business of writing – and if there's a particular question you have, or a problem you're struggling with, just hit "reply" on any of my emails.

Chances are, you won't be the only one having difficulties, and I'll be very happy to answer your question in a subsequent edition of the newsletter.

Time to Write: Updated Mini-Ebook Ready in Your Secret Library
Almost five years ago (!) I wrote How to Find Time for Your Writing, the first free mini-ebook that I created for readers of this newsletter.

These days, after two pregnancies, two kids, and a house move, plus discussions with dozens of writers, I've got some new thoughts on time and writing. In fact, I now don't believe it's really a case of "finding" time so much as "making" time.

You can download the completely rewritten Time to Write here:

Password: alinewsletter

The library also includes several other mini-ebooks:
  • Editing Your Own Work
  • Ten Powerful Ways to Make Your Blog Posts Stronger
  • Ten Easy Ways to Attract Readers to Your Blog ... and Keep Them There
I'm planning to update all of these during 2016: I'll let you know in the newsletter as soon as new versions are available.

Oblivion, Sequel to Lycopolis, Released
One of the main reasons behind the delayed relaunch of Aliventures was that I really wanted to get Oblivion (the second book in the Lycopolis trilogy) out before the end of 2016.

It's currently available in ebook format from Amazon:

(Or search "Oblivion Ali Luke" on your local version of Amazon.)

If you've not read Lycopolis yet, I strongly recommend starting there. It's available from Amazon, and is free if you have Kindle Unlimited:

Lycopolis and Oblivion are pacy contemporary fantasy novels about a group of online friends who summon an evil demon into the game they play together ... and into the real world.

Next week, I'll be sending you a simple tip for making the most of your writing sessions. Till then, happy writing!

Ali

P.S. Don't forget to check out the new-look Aliventures at www.aliventures.com, especially this week's post, Is Your Writing Art ... and Should it Be?
