Freelance Confidence is suitable for anyone who's already made a start with freelancing, even if they haven't had many (or any!) paying clients yet.
It's designed to help you move forward with your freelancing and, critically, become more confidence with pitching ideas to publications and with applying for freelancing gigs.
How Freelance Confidence Works
Freelance Confidence is a six week online course, with a detailed written module each week to help you dig into a specific aspect of freelancing.
The modules are:
Module #1: The Foundations of Your Freelancing Business
Module #2: Registering Your Domain and Social Profiles
Module #3: Setting Up Your Website, Step by Step
Module #4: Getting Great Experience – and Testimonials
Module #5: What to Charge and How to Work
Module #6: Finding Writing Gigs and Pitching Editors
Six Week Course, Plus Four Week Support Period
Like all my online courses, Freelance Confidence is a structured six week course (with a new module each Monday), with a bonus four week “support period”.
During the support period, you don’t receive new modules – but you do still have full access to the course’s Facebook group, and to me.
Checking In and Your Reward Card
Every week that you “check in” on our Facebook group, whether or not you've met your target, you’ll receive a stamp on your reward card. Each stamp is worth 5% off a future course, so you can get up to 30% off.
How to Pay for Freelance Confidence
Freelance Confidence is billed through PayPal, in dollars. It doesn’t matter if your local currency isn’t dollars (mine isn’t!) – PayPal will automatically convert the money for you.
You can pay for Freelance Confidence in a single up-front payment for $60, or, if you prefer, you can pay in six weekly instalments of $10.
Whichever you opt for, you have a full money-back guarantee: if you decide at any point during the six-week course (even in week six!) that it wasn’t right for you, just let me know and I’ll refund you in full.
If you’ve got any questions, just drop me an email at ali@aliventures.com. If you’re not sure whether it’s the right option for you right now, feel free to tell me a bit about you and your freelancing and I’ll be glad to advise you whether not the course sounds like a good fit for you.
